BCx is a platform for ultra-high-throughput field phenotyping under all weather conditions in the field or greenhouse. The platform enables capacities of tens-of-thousands of plants or plots with a scanning capacity of 10,000 plants or higher per hour. The BCx moves over the plants to create a unique 2D orthomosaic and 3D Model. We combine  3D imaging with a multispectral flashing unit, that illuminates the plant and measures up to 4 wavelengths immediately after the 3D acquisition of the plant in high frequency. This way we can overlay 3D and multispectral information in one combined data set without the need for complex sensor fusion algorithms. Hence we provide both morphological and physiological parameters in one shot. Most important, the BMCx incorporates GPS data-points for each image offering exceptional positional accuracies for change-over time analysis.

BMC Scan data:

FieldScan uses PlantEye as the main sensor the create collect plant parameters. PlantEye scans the plants and delivers:

  • 2D & 3D source file with spectral data analytical exports available.

  • Plant parameters in open source formats that can be integrated into ArcGIS, QGIS, etc.

Optional solutions 
Precision Irrigation on a large scale is possible in combination with ATLASx.

prescription maps can be added to the boom's carrier device for top-down variable-rate spraying. 

It is an option to add sensors like the BCx and weather station for additional data.
